and here's what I got:
You're The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy!
by Douglas Adams
Considered by many to be one of the funniest people around, you are
quite an entertainer. You've also traveled to the far reaches of what you deem possible,
often confused and unsure of yourself. Life continues to jostle you around like a marble,
but it's shown you so much of the world that you don't care. Wacky adventures continue to
lie ahead. Your favorite number is 42.

at the Blue Pyramid.
Hmm, maybe I should read this book.
In other news, I am reading this amazing book called The Devil's Teeth by Susan Casey. It's about an editor who joins a small team of shark scientists on the Farallon Islands to observe great white shark behavior.
I'm really into this book. I keep having this memory of doing a book report in grade school about famous women, and I chose Dr. Eugenie Clark. Of course, no one knew who she was. I was always fascinated by sea life. For a while, I wanted to be a dolphin trainer :)
I tried the 2-At-A-Time Sock method, and the results were ok for a first try. I did leave huge holes in the sides, of course. Now Jeremy wants more socks. Of course, this whole 2 at a time sock thing was because of him. I hate making socks. I hate having to make ANOTHER one of the same thing.
But here are the said socks
Notice the huge holes in the ankles. My next try I'll be able to pay more attention to things like this rather than be distracted by the 40 strands of tangled yarn in my lap! I still have some yarn from my very first pair of socks, and I thought it would be interesting for me to make another pair a year later and compare.
I'm getting sick. I think it's the change in the weather. Sore throat, sniffles, wanting to sleep 23 hours a day... fun!
Jeremy and I were playing Yankee Candle tart mixologists last night. We mixed a Sparkling Lemon tart and a Vanilla Cupcake tart. Can you say "delicious lemon cake"??? It smelled AMAZING. But it was making me hungry.
I unfortunately have to gather myself for work now.
